continues to demonstrate strong progress through active engagement with the educational community, following a successful workshop at the CUC2026 Conference in Rovinj, Croatia.
📍 Workshop at CUC2026 Conference – Rovinj, Croatia
On 16–17 April 2026, the AISE project was presented during an interactive workshop at the CUC2026 Conference, attracting more than 50 educators.
Participants explored:
• Creation of student profiles
• Uploading and management of student essays
• Use of the automated evaluation tool

Data Anonymization and Ethical Considerations
Participants emphasized GDPR compliance and anonymization of student data.
Platform Usability and Functionality
The platform was considered user-friendly with suggestions for improved dashboards and analytics.
Evaluation Tool: Strong Positive Reception
Teachers highlighted consistent grading, reduced subjectivity, and structured evaluation.
Transparency and AI Model Training
Educators requested more explainability in AI decisions.
Pedagogical Implications
AI should support—not replace—the teacher.
📚 WP3 – Educational Study in Progress
WP3 is currently running across Greece, Cyprus, Serbia, and Croatia and will be completed by 30 June 2026.
📍 The AISE project will be further disseminated through a paper submission to the Fifth Serbian International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI2026), which will take place in May 2026 in Serbia, contributing to the scientific discussion on AI-driven educational assessment.
